Artificial colorings: NO, THANKS !

Artificial colourings have been studied from EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) because of some undesired effects on children health, especially E104, E110 and E124 are now limited and have to be declared on labels. Aureli offer a ' wide range of concentrates coming ​​from vegetables grown on their own crops inItaly, which represent a valid alternative to dyes.
In particular:
- Red , from red beet concentrate
- Yellow / orange, from carrot concentrate
- Violet / purple, from purple carrot concentrate
To law, vegetable concentrates are considered just ingredients, not dyes. Besides colouring properties , they represent a valuable source of nutrients , in particular, polyphenols , carotenoids and minerals , therefore a strong support for functional foods. Among the vegetables which are suitable for this use, Aureli offer a wide range of products including carrot, yellow carrot , purple carrot , celery , pumpkin, red beet , red cabbage and spinach .
