Wintertime harvest - Genuary 2012

26 January 2012

In the middle of wintertime, thanks to the mild temperatures and a generous sunshine, Aureli is proceeding with the harvest of its carrot crops, offering its consumers the high quality of carrots coming from Fucino area in a very unusual period.

In these months of the year, italian carrots usually come from the sandy soils of the roman coasts, offering a product quality quite different from the  typical crops of Fucino, high altitude grown (650 meters above sea level).

Aureli winter harvest demonstrates how to have a double period of cultivation in the Fucino plateau obtaining higher return from farming investments: from the typical summer seeding in March  harvested in July-August, to an innovative cultivation in June/July collected in January, offering the market fresh carrot crops  with Fucino quality standards in an unusual period.
That is the confirmation Aureli always take particular care on innovation in all its business sectors, starting with the cultivations.
