How
to use carrot powder for home-made pasta
Carrot noodles(dose for 400 g of product)
Ingredients: 75g carrot flour, 125g wheat flour, 50g cool water,
2 eggs, 2 spoon doses corn oil.
Preparation: put carrot flour and wheat flour to well; break eggs
in the centre add water and mix to a smooth and hard paste. Roll out the
mixture; cut it in noodles. Best sauce: fresh tomato sauce with parmesan
cheese.
Carrot gnocchi (dose for 600 g of product)
IIngredients: 75g
carrot flour, 125g wheat flour, 300g boiled and mashed potatoes, 1 egg,
2 spoon doses corn oil.
Preparation: put carrot powder and
wheat flour to well; break eggs in the centre add potatoes and mix to a
smooth and soft paste. Cut the paste to form sticks 2cm length and 1 cm
thickness.Gnocchi; best sauce-fresh tomato with parmesan cheese.
P.S. Coeliac people MUST NOT use wheat flour but gluten free flour to
mix with carrot flour.
