Corn is a very new crop to be cultivated in the Fucino, introduced in crop rotations for the recovery of disadvantaged mountain lands. Thanks to the composition of the ground, Aureli has obtained a high level of quality both as corn for cattle and sweet corn for human consummation. Corn flour produced in Fucino lands is mixed with carrot flour to produce tasty, naturally gluten free pasta.

Buck wheat, cultivated at a high altitude, is a very new production for Fucino lands. It was introduced in order to enrich the ground with organic substances, to obtain flour with high protein values, and to mix with carrot powder (with its high level of beta-carotene) to have a highly nutritional food value. Buck wheat powder is another product in the range of the “naturally gluten free foods” offered by Aureli.
